The next two weeks will be full of stories from me on UpdateSC but here are my latest ones:
Alicia Barnett's senior project: This was actually a lot of fun to be a part of. Alicia initially asked me to take pictures, so I got to do pictures for her and this video for UpdateSC. I ended up getting a free meal, gifts, and a blanket out of it!
Bloodmobile: I had the opportunity to do a short story over the blood drive on campus this week.
Faculty changes: This story was interesting to write because I had to find all the information about what's changing, who's going where, etc...it was like an inside look at what's happening on campus!
Our student media staff attended KCM (Kansas Collegiate Media) this weekend in Wichita. I got an honorable mention for my story over BibleTalk! Check it out here.
Upcoming events:
This weekend is Founders Weekend. I will be at all of the events so be ready for a story and a slideshow either Saturday night or Sunday.
The Cherokee Maidens will perform Saturday, April 18 at 8 p.m. in Richardson.
The Spring Choir Concert, "Soundscapes," will take place at 3 p.m. on April 19 in Richardson.
Senior chapel is next Wednesday (April 22). Selected seniors will be speaking during the service.
The South Kansas Symphony will present "Prairie Potential" on Sunday, April 26 at 3 p.m. in Richardson.
Finals week is May 4-8.
Graduation will take place on May 10.
