Hello! My name is Kylie Stamper and this semester I will be covering administration & faculty. On this blog you will find news about lectures/faculty sessions, faculty events, and different things going on in the staff & faculty world. I will also be posting all of my stories from UpdateSC on this page.
To start, I would like to mention some important news and events coming up.
-Brad Griffin was just named as the new head football coach. He will be the 28th head coach in the football team's 111-year run. Griffin comes from William Penn University where he completed 10 seasons as defensive coordinator.
-In observance of MLK day, a showing of Malcolm X will take place at 7 p.m. on Jan. 22 in Mossman 101. A discussion will follow the film. The event is free and open to the public.
-Dr. Brad Elliott Stone will present the Beck Lecture at 7 p.m. on Feb. 9 in Wroten Hall. Stone is from Los Angeles, Cal. where he is a Professor of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University.
