February Collegian, Spamalot, and more upcoming events and news

The February Collegian came out this Wednesday. I wrote 2 stories for this edition. One was a review of the book "Final Salute" and the second was a story over the changes in activity grants. I also had a bigger feature over the Leadership research projects happening right now that was printed in the January edition. Feel free to check them out!

Sebastian Junger will present the Docking lecture at 11 a.m. on March 5 in Richardson Auditorium.

Spamalot will also open at 7:30 p.m. on March 5, with following shows at 7:30 p.m. on March 7 and at 2 p.m. on March 8. It is a dinner theater production. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for youth/students and free for SC faculty/staff/students.

Christian Howes, a modern Latin jazz violinist, will be on campus performing at 7:30 p.m. on March 13 in Richardson Auditorium. Doors will open at 7. Tickets for the performance are reserve seating only and cost $15 for adults, $12 for alumni, and $8 for students.

Matt Sigler made the official announcement that he will be taking a position as the Assistant Professor of Wesleyan Theology/United Methodist Liaison at Seattle Pacific University. I will have a story over this and other resignations in a few weeks.

The Lenten Blog is still running every M-F. Dr. Jacob Goodson was the latest poster. Check it out here!
