Valentine's week, psychology research projects, and Lent

My story over the Psychology Research Projects is up. Check it out here.

I will have a book review over "Final Salute" ready this week. The book was all about the Marines in charge of notifying families of soldier's deaths in Iraq or surrounding areas. It tells the true stories of their lives and everything that happens during the crushing time after a death. I say it is definitely worth the read!

Southwestern is hosting a screening of 'Restrepo' at 7 p.m. on Feb. 17 in Richardson Auditorium in preparation for Sebastian Junger's visit. Junger will present the Docking lecture at 11 a.m. on March 5 in Richardson Auditorium. You can read Jacob Jimmerson's review of the movie here.

SC Chapel is running a blog for the Lenten season with posts from SC students and faculty/staff from several departments. I will be in charge of posting the devotions each day and I will post weekly updates on this page. Be sure to check it out! It goes live on Wednesday (Feb. 18).
